  • Do I need to be based in Queensland to work with Kestrel?

    Not at all. Kestrel works with investors across Australia. We specialise in identifying high-growth markets nationally, so your location has no bearing on where we buy or who we work with.

  • How is a buyers agent different from a selling agent?

    A selling agent works for the vendor — their job is to get the highest price for the seller. A buyers agent works exclusively for you. Our only interest is finding the right property at the right price in the right market.

  • What does the process look like from start to finish?

    It starts with a strategy call to understand your goals. From there we build your brief, research the markets, identify suitable properties, conduct due diligence, negotiate the purchase, and support you through to settlement.

  • How much does it cost?

    Kestrel charges a flat fee — not a percentage of the purchase price. That matters because a percentage-based model gives your agent a financial incentive to push you toward a more expensive property. Our flat fee means our only incentive is finding you the right property, not the most expensive one. Full details discussed on your strategy call.

  • How long does the process take?

    t varies depending on the market and your brief, but most acquisitions are completed within 60 to 90 days from strategy call to settlement.

  • Do you only buy investment properties?

    Yes. Kestrel is focused exclusively on investment acquisitions. We don't work on owner-occupier purchases — our research process, market focus, and strategy framework are built entirely around investment fundamentals.
